This course allows guest users to enter

The aim of the unit is to encourage students to formulate appropriate styles and forms of questioning and to gather relevant information. It also aims to ensure that students appreciate the difference between critical thought and personal points of view or anecdotal information. Students will be encouraged to apply critical thought to learning situations, management processes and professional issues. To become proficient at critical thinking takes time and a great deal of practice so this course aims only to provide the students with beginning knowledge and skills. However, as critical thinking is an integral part of university learning the students will have the opportunity to extend and hone their skills over the next three years.
